As education is one of the major objectives of the ATOZ Foundation, this initiative to ultimately reduce the dropout rate in schools throughout the European Union represents an opportunity to support students from near and far.

The Comenius project, initiated and headed up in Luxembourg by the Private School Marie Consolatrice (PSMC) has united six different countries, Belgium, Romania, Greece, Finland and France in the fight against early school leaving. The international team of educators worked together with Hélène Mayer of the Henri Tudor Research Center in Luxembourg to develop and implement an online questionnaire. This survey is a kind of “early warning system” where vulnerable children are identified and early intervention can occur.

ATOZ has lent financial support to the project at its very beginning, making sure that at-risk children get the support they need to graduate.
