The ATOZ Foundation decided to participate in a project created by Biblionef, an international organisation dedicated to improving literacy all around the world.

The aim of this project sponsored by the ATOZ Foundation is to give school children from rural areas in Morocco access to new books featuring diverse and relevant themes facilitating the early entry of Moroccan children to the schooling system. This provides them with a major advantage in their academic and professional future. Thanks to the funding, a total of 8000 specially selected books were purchased and are being distributed to create libraries for 5625 children in 84 rural schools in Morocco, a country where the illiteracy rate is over 32%. This project will not only impact Moroccan educational rates but provide immeasurable future benefit to countless children of the region.
